Lounge Mode

When the lid flips open, it will lie on the lounge's surface and serve as an extra sturdy platform.

Easy Integration

Box Seat 2.0 would integrate perfectly with existing Poppin furniture.

Dual Functionality

In the initial phases, the lid could be removed from the product to be used on its own.

Closed View

In its primary state I wanted Box Seat 2.0 to be visually appealing and simplistic.

Raised Seat

Wooden feet were added to the model to give it more height and allowed it to be slightly elevated off the ground.

Flat Top

A hard writing surface was added to the underside of the lid to add more dual functionality.

Foam Padding

Plush padding was used for Box seat 2.0 to provide the user with a comfortable seating experience.

Plush Material

I ended up going with a very soft material to cover the product to make the experience pleasurable for the user.

Hardware Selection

Extra attention was paid to hardware selection for safety and ease of use.

Fucntional Lid

Provides the user an extra surface for work without taking up too much room in the office.

Hollow Body

The perfect space to hide away unwanted clutter in the workplace.

Problem

Being creative in a fast-paced office environment can be challenging. People often shift through multiple work areas in search of inspiration, but later discover them in a relaxed lounge setting.
