The Process

Journey to Final Design

01

Inspiration

"Simple designs that support vertical screens"

Wanted one object to support another in the most basic way. Turned to current stands and furniture to find a simple solution.

02

Sketches

"Based on the building blocks of the Poppin brand."

What forms work and what forms do not? The final form was realized in the sketching phase.

03

Prototypes

"What works and what does not?"

Focused on the overall length and depth of each extrude as well as the verticality of the tablet screen. A long series of minor tweaks lead to one unified and fully functional form.

04

Style

"Extruded Universal Holder needed to blend seamlessly with Poppin’s existing products."

Clean, colorful and simple. Everything that embodies the Poppin’s brand.
