I brought my initial sketch to life using layered illustration board. After multiple revisions and confirming that my idea was valid through testing (ie. crawling under furniture), I moved on over to CAD modelling.
My early process was defined by constantly moving back and forth between 3D models and CAD models, tweaking small things here and there.
These images show the latest functional prototypes I worked with before moving on to more final materials.
